Complex root canal cases, such as those with calcified (blocked) canals or previous treatment failures, carry a risk of complications. We minimize these risks using 3D Endodontic Planning. By analyzing a high-resolution CBCT scan, we can visualize the exact location, angle, and curvature of every canal before we even touch the tooth. In extremely difficult cases, we can design a 3D-printed guide that directs the drill to the exact location of the canal opening. This "Guided Endodontics" approach preserves healthy tooth structure that would otherwise be removed searching for the canal and drastically reduces the risk of perforation. It turns high-risk, complex cases into predictable, safe procedures.
