Immediate Load Implant for Single Tooth
In select cases where bone quality is excellent, we can perform Immediate Load Implantation. This means we place the implant and attach a temporary crown in the same appointment, avoiding the need for a removable flipper or a gap in your smile. This technique is particularly popular for front teeth where aesthetics are the top priority. We measure the stability of the implant using precise torque values to ensure it can withstand the temporary crown. While you will need to follow a soft diet to protect the implant while it integrates, you leave the office with a fixed tooth. After the healing period is complete, we simply swap the temporary crown for the permanent, custom-shaded ceramic one.
